For more than three decades, our personal injury lawyers at Marcus & Mack have been helping victims of negligence fight for their rights to compensation. Because we see so many of our Pennsylvania clients struggling through life’s darkest times, we strongly believe in supporting our local communities and strengthening families in need.
That’s why this year, we joined up with the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (WPTLA) to work on a Habitat for Humanity project. This nationwide non-profit organization aims to find sustainable, affordable housing for those who no longer have a decent place to live. From constructing new houses to providing environmental disaster relief, Habitat for Humanity has served as a shining example of how compassion and hard work can transform our communities.
To kickstart 2019, we joined forces with the Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity for the first time, renovating and cleaning the interior of a newly-built home. Participating in a group event on Saturday, January 12th from 9 am to 2 pm, our team worked alongside the WPTLA President, James Tallman, as well as other members on the WPTLA Board of Governors (pictured below).
On behalf of the entire team here at Marcus & Mack, we’re thankful for the many opportunities provided by amazing charitable organizations like Habitat for Humanity. We wish them continued success and hope to work with them again in the future.
